B tech in IT syllabus | CUSAT
The bachelor of technology (commonly abbreviated as B.Tech. or B.Tech. (Hons) or BT) is an undergraduate academic degree conferred after completion of a three- or four-year program of studies at an accredited university or accredited university-level institution. The degree is conferred in the Commonwealth of Nations, the United States, Canada, South Africa, India, Sri Lanka, Republic of Ireland, Pakistan and elsewhere.
In general, the degree is awarded to those who have undertaken a degree program which is additionally supplemented by either occupational placements (e.g. supervised practice or internships), practice-based classroom courses, or associate degrees. Due to these requirements, the degree normally takes at least four years.
In some countries, the degree is awarded following completion of a curriculum which is career oriented, emphasizing practice as opposed to theory. Here[where?], by contrast, occupational placements and practice-based courses are more heavily weighted within the program (see Cooperative education).

CUSAT B tech ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING - SYLLABUS pdf Download
Electronics engineering, or electronic engineering, is an engineering discipline where non-linear and active electrical components such as electron tubes, and semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits, are utilized to design electronic circuits, devices and systems, typically also including passive electrical components and based on printed circuit boards. The term denotes a broad engineering field that covers important subfields such as analog electronics, digital electronics, consumer electronics, embedded systems and power electronics. Electronics engineering deals with implementation of applications, principles and algorithms developed within many related fields, for example solid-state physics, radio engineering, telecommunications, control systems, signal processing, systems engineering, computer engineering, instrumentation engineering, electric power control, robotics, and many others. Cusat Civil Engineering Syllabus 2013 Pdf Download (2006 scheme)
Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings. Civil engineering is the oldest engineering discipline after military engineering, and it was defined to distinguish non-military engineering from military engineering. It is traditionally broken into several sub-disciplines including environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, geophysics, geodesy, control engineering, structural engineering, biomechanics, nanotechnology, transportation engineering, earth science, atmospheric sciences, forensic engineering, municipal or urban engineering, water resources engineering, materials engineering, coastal engineering, surveying, and construction engineering. Civil engineering takes place on all levels: in the public sector from municipal through to national governments, and in the private sector from individual homeowners through to international companies. download
The book provides a clear exposition of essential tools of applied mathematics from a modern point of view and meets complete requirements of engineering and computer science students. Every effort has been made to keep the presentation at once simple and lucid. It is written with the firm conviction that a good book is one that can be read with minimum guidance from the instructor. To achieve this, more than the usual number of solved examples, followed by properly graded problems have been given. Many of the examples and problems have been selected from recent papers of various university and other engineering examinations. Basic Concepts and Useful Information has been given in an Appendix. However, the subject matter has been set in eight main units:
Algebra & Geometry: Solution of equations, Linear algebra: Determinants, Matrices, Vector algebra and Solid geometry.
Differential Equations: Differential equations of first order and their applications, Linear differential equations and their applications, Differential equations of different types, Series solution of differential equations and special functions, Partial differential equations and their applications.
Complex Analysisc: Complex numbers and functions, Calculus of complex functions.
Transforms: Laplace Transforms, Fourier transforms and Z-transforms.
Numerical Techniques: Empirical Laws and Curve fitting, Statistical methods, Probability and Distributions, Sampling and Inference, Numerical methods, Finite differences and Interpolation, Difference equations, Numerical solution of Ordinary and Partial differential equations, Linear programming.
Special Topics: Calculus of variations, Integral equations, Discrete mathematics, Tensors.
An exhaustive list of 'Objective Type of Questions' has been given at the end of each chapter. Standard Tables, Answers to Problems, and a fairly comprehensive Index is given at the end.

Ravi Kalakota and Marcia Robinson, "e-Business : Roadmap for Success", Addison
Wesley,I998
In e-Business 2.0, Ravi Kalakota and Marcia Robinson present a survey of how the processes of business have changed as a result of computer-assisted communications, data storage, and data analysis. They explain recent technological advances--and those that may take place in the near and middle future--and explain how companies that sell products and services might put them to profitable use. With an emphasis on companies that sell things to large numbers of consumers, the authors argue convincingly that information technology isn't an end in itself, but a tool that can facilitate valuable changes in business processes.
This is a book for managers and organizational planners, but it commits none of the sins typical of such books. It neither oversimplifies technical matters nor serves as a mere platform for catchy phrases and obtuse illustrations. e-Business 2.0 is properly focused on the big technologies on which successful companies will capitalize. Kalakota and Robinson argue that it's a good idea to supplement live salespeople with self-service sales facilities, such as those on a Web site. They call this a part of selling-chain management.
The authors also explain how inefficiencies in the selling chain can make it prohibitively expensive to provide built-to-order products, which consumers increasingly want. They then present solutions: Internet and customer relationship management (IRM and CRM) software, sales automation systems, and proposal-automation tools. In each case, they cite specific examples (usually companies and products), enabling readers to dig deeper into specifics if they want. Similar attention goes to enterprise resource planning (ERP), trend-spotting tools, and half a dozen other technologies. Read this guide as you think about how to make strategic changes in your company's operating practices. --David Wall
Topics covered: Recent developments in technology that change the way companies do business, particularly in terms of determining and fulfilling customers' needs and interacting smoothly with vendors. More broadly, this book deals with sharing information efficiently among all relevant parties inside and outside an organization. Technologies covered: Internet sales infrastructures, customer relationship management (CRM) suites, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, knowledge management tools, and data warehousing and analysis products.
